Information is the core of our business operations. Without information, Stater cannot do its work, which is why proper security of information is crucial. Certification based on the international standard for information security, ISO/IEC 27001, is therefore a logical step. Stater was one of the first financial service providers to receive the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
At Stater, the security of systems, platforms and data is paramount. Stater was one of the first financial service providers in the Netherlands to receive the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate from the British Standards Institution (BSI). This certificate guarantees the international standard for information security.
We invest substantially in IT security, data security and cyber security. And we deploy a variety of measures in the areas of prevention, detection and response. These measures are part of our stringent security monitoring policy. Together with the suppliers of our ICT infrastructure, we put this into practice. With a Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, we continuously improve information security.
We also place the highest demands on data security. For example, personal data is protected by the AVG. The General Data Protection Regulation places the responsibility for the management of personal data with the owner of the database. Stater has taken far-reaching security measures to remain operational, prevent data loss and limit damage.
